I have finished the level 1 training today and so i will now begin making plans to take the level one certification test. I have also began doing the advanced training that is required for the level two certification. This training has given me a lot more information about google apps and how they work then I have ever know before. Much of the units though are common sense and are too difficult for anyone to learn.

Many of the departments now have their contact info posted on the website. I have gone through and copied the information from the old site over to the new one. In doing so I encountered a few problems, many of the formatting was vastly different and not all of it copied. As i rebuilt the website, I streamlined the formatting and made it easier to read for the viewer.
Today I talked to Ron and had him activate my account for the Mac side of the network so I am able to access Photoshop. I have decided to changed the logo at the top of the website slightly so it fits better with the theme. I was able to Photoshop to make the new logo and it looks much nicer. I was also able to add more bases for the department websites.
Now that we have the premium plan unlocked for the new Northgate website, I can have full CSS control over the site. Tobin and I work mainly on creating and designing the main page. We decided to move the sidebar with the widgets to the left side as to make the site more navigable. We remove the twitter feed as it was unnecessary and unfitting for the rest of the site. We added new posts that have a welcome and pictures for a slide show for the school site. We also worked on idea for a new social bar at the top of the site.
